Timeframes - You snooze you lose – you need to be quick with feedback, booking interviews & making offers. Even if it is bad news – respect the candidate and the recruiter to let them know.

Communicate - If you don’t like the CV – tell us why? It helps us get it right the next time knowing what you did and didn’t like about them.

Remember your best candidates are probably already working – be flexible with interview times (and book in next stage interview ASAP)

Put your best foot forward - Remember candidates are also interviewing you, show them why they should choose you over your competitors.

Culture can be key make sure you are running through your company values and the culture you have and the one you are looking to achieve!

GIVE FEEDBACK or at least an answer - Don’t ghost your recruiter when it comes to feedback.

Help us help you, give your recruiter as much info as possible – you wouldn’t work with a supplier without giving them the full spec of what you want in a product. This should also apply to your recruitment.
