Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, our client is seeking an experienced Administrator to join their Estimating Team. This newly created role, reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, will play a crucial part in supporting the entire estimation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process requests for quotations and other client solicitations, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and finance, to gather the necessary information and inputs for estimates.
- Develop and maintain estimation templates, ensuring all submissions adhere to company standards and client specifications.
- Write, edit, and format estimation content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and quality standards.
- Track and report on estimation progress, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Maintain a database of previous tenders to improve and aid in the preparation of documents for future reference.
- Provide support to the sales team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an estimating or proposals support role is preferred, but proven experience within a technical office environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to perform clerical and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail.
