Transport Planner

KL Talent solutions are recruiting for a transport planner for our client based in North Yorkshire. This client is a highly successful business who employ over 2000 members of staff. Their logistics arm provides a supply chain management service, storage and distribution with over 400 vehicles on fleet.

Our client is looking to add a further member to their planning team on a four on four off basis on days work. For this role they are looking for the following:

• Previous transport planner experience, with a minimum of 1 year.
• Ability to provide professional customer service
• Day to day load planning
• Route planning
• Daily driver de-brief
• Tachograph tracking
• Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
• Liaising with other internal departments
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK
• Understanding of drivers working time directive and CPC legislation
• Previous experience of road runner or a similar route planner is essential.
